Johannes Nussbaumer lives for what he teaches: exercise in nature, mental strength and consciously pushing boundaries. Growing up in Bad Ischl, he discovered his passion for trail running after detours via other sports – a combination of physical challenge, inner peace and a deep connection to nature. Today he lives in Innsbruck, where the mountains are not just a training ground but a daily source of inspiration. He has been part of the ASICS European trail running team since 2025. As a coach, Johannes pursues a holistic approach that goes far beyond traditional training plans. He combines sound sports science expertise with mental training and individual support. His philosophy: improved performance is not only achieved through physical training, but also through the combination of mental clarity, inner motivation and tailored support.
